Type motion

first i wrote the outlines of the words neville brody doing each letter one at a time. i then added block colour into the lettering .

I added two of Brody's magazines which he worked for but this time i only did block colour but used the same technique. I added Star bullet points so that makes them noticeable to the viewers making them focus points.

Here I have uploaded a short sample of animation with type. I used Neville Brody as my focus point. I hope to share information with others about the Typo artist, Brody.

Then I made another short clip with a twist. I made it outdoors on a wall with chalk and a digital camera.

I also messed about with some type on my belt had some fun with this one, so I simply went for some simple lettering.

here is the image of my final typo piece for wear. As you can see i decided to use the word loose. i first cut my shapes out of material and then placed them on top of my tie template.

creating badges would be a good one because u could modify them to show who you are!
this one i found online and the slogan it self is priceless. a good one

Bag

This bag was created by THORBJØRN

ANKERSTJERNE. I really like this piece of design because of the message put across on it. His message is for you to use his bag and not any other bags.

Shoe

poster for a marathon, really creative and works well really well.
i think this would work well in other sports advertisements such as Nike.

Scarf

The scarf for me really works well, it is very fashionable but depending on the materials used, is it comfortable?

typography in costumes

this works well on one night of the year, Halloween.
thousands of people all over the year come up with better costumes every year and decide to add some type.

type in fashion

typography in fashion works but nothing i would wear. Looks very classy/posh. i think it would work well on the back.
football shirts would use this type of typography.

Wear type ideas

I think cufflinks would be a good one to design, something that has to be small but essential. I really like these ones because of the serif used in it.
this is something like the way I want my final piece look like. This was simply done on photoshop with some type, wat u think?
another from the collection. I really like the simplicity of the letters
seen this and thought it would add to my research on wearing type. It made me think of signs in shops saying open or closed and flip it over.
looks like a funky chain.

Various Different Images

Photography/Typo

Some old images with typography that I had taking last summer down in Portsalon.

Eye catching sample

When I seen this I simply got the idea that i wanted to then have B\W images in my spread.
I like this spread because it has energy with the performance and also the dedication of editing and recoreding.

Magazine Cover/Spread

Here are my final pieces for my magazine spread and cover.
I really enjoyed this project so far. Packed with photography and photoshop, perfect!

For my spread I decided to take the black and white photographs because i knew that the quitar was going to be that colour and I wanted to get the kind of old school rock sense across to my viewers.
For my Cover I decided to take photographs of mainly quitars. I took two pictures of two different guitars and also one in colour and the other.
B/W.

When I was taking this one I thought about how typography is used in everything to do with advertising, although this one like many others are used everyday with road signs
